I’m a twenty-something doctoral student at a big-ten university. I used to teach first grade, currently teach college juniors, and am trying to figure out what I’m doing here. I read constantly, attempt to write in complete sentences, am totally distracted by social networking sites and am slowly but surely making my way through Mark Bittman’s How to Cook Everything. If I were a song, I would be The Submarine’s Brighter Discontent. I’m working on something more uptempo.
